Luke is a lovely boy from a village in Ontario that wants to make the world even more awesome. He lives in Toronto while attending the University of Toronto studying Equity (Human Rights, Disability, Oppression) and Book and Media Studies. There, he is the Editor-in-Chief of Urbane Magazine. He works downtown at the Toronto Vegetarian Association planning and managing the magnificent Toronto Vegetarian Food Festival each year, with an average attendance of over 25,000 people.

 

Luke has done some pretty awesome things in his life, including teaching English in Turkey, exploring Ghana, planning events and working as a barista at a peace cafe, organizing the TD Canada Trust Go Green Challenge and has also engaged with youth to raise awareness about the tobacco industry and health while working at Grey-Bruce Public Health.

 

Luke is passionate about healthful, plant-based living and running, technology and media, and kindness.
